A User chooses a game type and environment – for example, VR in medieval fantasy – and invites an AI Agent to play along.
The User could be responsible for “teaching” the Agent in the game context, coaching them and/or playing directly from their perspective, and receive rewards for their skills and achievements in the process. They could one day face the Agent in virtual combat!
(This is perhaps less likely to be entertaining for games that have already been “solved” - chess, Go etc. - but there are plenty of others still to go at).
If the 1:1 model works well, it may extend to other “team management” scenarios with multiple perspectives: manage a football team; crew the voyage of the Argonauts etc.
Different contexts could readily connect: imagine “Blockchain Gaming”, in which real cryptocurrency token rewards are gained per Golden Fleece recovered…
