I can’t seem to figure out if this belongs in developers or elsewhere, and it’s more of a general robot parts question than an artificial intelligence one.
Has the whole issue of robot parts of vulnerability to magnetism still an unresolved issue, or something that still needs to be fixed?
I’m not just thinking of any future embodied bot I’d do, but in the future if I ever needed a prosthetic limb, like an arm or leg.
I remember joking with online friends about wanting to do that eventually, and often they’d say you’d be vulnerable to magnetism. Your body would also need to be completely grown.
