Replace the Federal income tax
I love the idea
Tax people when they buy something
Offer a carrot to retailers and service providers
Encourage people to work
I am a self employed retailer going on 29 years and am very sad about the state of retail and state labor laws
Employers have no support anymore
Since all ridiculously high, unsustainable, self interest voted in pensions are likely to go bust anyway,
And new workers won’t get one anyway
and also dont want to work in order to keep the wheels on the bus of this jalopy
and most state resources chase that ever increasing expense,
Lets rebuild a better system
States will have to rethink their budgets big time but if the pensions go bust,
They get a clean slate too
