An AI that can convert old 2D or 3D games into modern days graphics level game.
For example some of the ‘‘Playstation 1’’ games graphics being sharpened, color repaired and made more pleasurable for the modern eye for starters. That is possible already today right? Would be awesome to convert some even older games like something from Sega and other old school consoles.

BUT here is the thing I would love to see - AI that could take these old games and convert them in walkable Virtual Reality(VR) games/worlds. AI that would also add it’s own voiceovers in plain text talking scenes in game. Plus adding some weather and time changes in-game. Basically making any old/new game into VR.

You make it sound like we’re already in the Matrix, and it’s so amazing we don’t want to leave.

I believe that it is possible to make right now, but it would require some persons life’s work. But with the help of a strong AI or AI network + a dedicated, smart group of people would take far less time and resources.

But why would anyone make something like that?
Then again there are loads of work force put in building the metaverse.
