Our favorite JPMorgan snatches up Carnegie Mellon’s head of machine learning in an attempt to increase the efficiency of their AI trading desk, which they found in 2017 happened to be more efficient than traditional methods. @bengoertzel has a lot of experience in developing AI for this domain. I’d be very curious to hear his thoughts on Big Money pulling away AI talent from top CS universities.
