I’m a freelance artist and pianist. In my piano work I do a lot of boogie woogie plus early roots style black piano with elements of stride, barrelhouse and stomps etc.
I’m very impressed with the singularity people and their focus on ethics.
I have a degree in Archaeology and Fine Arts from Sydney university. During the course we studied anthropology as well. I’ve always maintained a strong self education ethic and have studied many areas of spirituality and a very wide holistic knowledge base.
AGI has interested me for years and I have written several essays about themes incorporating AGI concepts such as the definition of wisdom as opposed to just “intelligence”. Wisdom is based on ethics.
I have enormous respect for Ben Goertzel and David Hanson as true artists and philosophers. They both express difficult concepts with an ease born out of guilessness. This is highly unusual in such abstruse fields.
I tried to join the singularity movement but my computer expertise is too low plus I got hacked etc. I think I’m an “honorary member” only
I fully intend to pursue more knowledge in this field.
